Staycation is the trend in 2020 now. Even if you cannot get away from Bangkok, spending a few nights at a nice hotel can be very refreshing. It's actually quite nice to have the vacation without much travel, and relaxation is only a short trip away!

U Sukhumvit Hotel

This hotel is in a very nice area of the vibrant Sukhumvit neighborhood. The service was amazing. I loved their 24 hour stay policy - if you check in at 6 pm, you have till 6 pm the next day to check out!

The breakfast is amazing. Some of the best I've had at any hotel in Bangkok. Who'd serve proper egg benedict at breakfast buffet? The selection was just absolutely amazing, and the food incredibly delicious! What's not to love?

The location was very convenient.  The hotel has free Tuk-tuk shuttle service to Terminal 21, where the food court is both cheap and amazing! And it's near the BTS, so you can travel anywhere easily. I totally recommend U Sukhumvit for your next travel in Bangkokl!
Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn

I'd come back to this hotel a few times. So, this speaks volume! It is a 5-star hotel that is very affordable.

They have great service. The room was extremely comfortable, especially one on higher floors; you'd get a great view of the city. The infinity pool is so relaxing, and I'd just lounge there for hours.

The breakfas has a great selection, all of which was very delicious! Their lunch buffet is amazing as well; I loved their spicy seabass - so good!

The hotel is directly connected to the BTS Surasak. It can't be more convenient! The location is amazing with access to restaurants and shops in the area.

Hint:  there's a great nail salon called "Nail It" inside the BTS station. Great manicure at affordable price! Eastin Grand Hotel is definitely my choice when I want a 5-star hotel experience.
Centara Grand at Central World Hotel

The location of Centara Grand is hard to beat! It's right on top of one of the biggest shopping malls in Bangkok - the Central World!

There are amazing restaurants at Central World, which boasts a nice food court at the top floor, a supermarket, and a huge cinema. On the ground floor, there's Grooves, which has lots of bars and fine dining for locals and travels alike.

Did I mention it has a rooftop bar as well?

The Red Sky has AMAZING views! And the atmosphere is very chill and relaxing. Their drinks are very nice but - from my personal experience - don't expect to get drunk with their drinks, or you'd lose a fortune!

From here, you can easily walk to Platinum - a fashion shopping mall with cheap clothes of good quality! Across from Central World, is a HUGE Big C supermarket, which is very famous among tourists looking for food and snack souvenir to take home from their travel and vacation. Siam Paragon, Siam Square are also within walking distance.

If this is not enough, it's connected to the BTS skytrain, so you can take a trip to anywhere in the city! This is definitely another great option for your next stay.

Mercure Bangkok Siam Hotel

The hotel is next to the National Stadium station and very close to MBK - another large local shopping mall. There is a massage parlor very close to the hotel which opens till midnight everyday if you want a nice massage at any time.

There is also a very local market nearby close to MBK where you can buy VERY cheap food and random things; they have a tiny pet zoo there too (very tiny, like 5 baby pigs and parrots).

Siam Paragon, Central World, Platinum are only a few BTS stops away. You can walk there; it will take 15-20 minutes, but given Thailand humid weather, I might prefer to take the air-conditioned skytrain.

With its amazing location and affordable price in its area, Mercure is definitely a very attractive option.
Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel

I've visited this hotel on multiple occasions; a few times for my friends' weddings, and also for their international buffet lunch! Their lunch selection is incredible and the service is amazing!

The location is a few blocks away from Central World. It is located close to Gaysorn Plaza a shopping mall for high-end brands - like Chanel, Prada, all things expensive you can name it.

If you plan to spend big on your vacation, this hotel is definitely the place for you! You can enjoy the shopping malls nearby as well as it's also a few stops from Siam Paragon.
