Hi, I'm Rachel. I was born and raised primarily in Bangkok, Thailand. "Lulla" (pronouncing lun-la) is actually a Thai slang, meaning joyful. That's where the name of this blog comes from! Anyways, to tell you a bit about me, growing up, I did not travel much at all. I only remember going to school, my grandmother's house then back home. My world was quite limited. It wasn't until when I was 14 that I took my first trip to Hokitika, New Zealand. It was only 2 weeks for a summer camp, but it opened up a whole new world for me. I got the first taste of freedom and independence, and it was so liberating! From then on, my life has been full of travels!
